Aeros
La société de dirigeables AEROS est fondée en 1988 en ex URSS, en 1992 la firme déménage aux USA.
1994, 1 er vol du dirigeable Aeros 50, 900 m3 2 places, pour la publicité aérienne.
1995, réalise le dirigeable Aeros 40A, volume 1350 m3.
1997, débute l'étude du dirigeable Aeros 40B, en Juin 2000 ce dirigeable est certifié par la FAA.
2000, construction du 4 ème A40B, et livraison d'un A40B en Allemagne.
La société AEROS frabrique également des ballons-captifs pour l'observation et la surveillance.
Le dirigeable souple A40B long de 43 m et d'un volume de 2500 m3
L'enveloppe en matériaux modernes est transparente à la lumière pour la publicité de nuit.
L'empennage 4 gouvernes est du type cruciforme X.
La nacelle permet une excellente visibilité sur 360°, le tableau de bord est semblable à celui d'un avion, le pilotage se fait par un mini-manche.
2 moteurs sont situés sur l'arrière de la nacelle.
